Dr. Warren Farrell is the author of Father and Child Reunion, a book that has helped many dads understand exactly why a fully-involved dad raises much more successful children. Dr. Farrell’s DVD and CD called “The Best Interest of the Child” are encouraging judges in child custody disputes to facilitate rather than block equal father involvement.

Dr. Farrell’s work as an expert witness in child custody cases has led to his developing a “Couples’ Communication” method that allows both sexes to feel more fully understood by their partner. His goal is not to just prevent the trauma of divorce but to create the power of a loving family.

Prior to
Father and Child Reunion, Dr. Farrell authored two award-winning international best-sellers, Why Men Are The Way They Are plus The Myth of Male Power. He has also written Women Can’t Hear What Men Don’t Say, a selection of the Book-of-the-Month Club. His latest book is Why Men Earn More: The Startling Truth Behind the Pay Gap—And What Women Can Do About It. Right now, he’s working on a book with John Gray called Boys to Men about the future of our sons. His books are published in more than 50 countries in 13 languages.

Dr. Farrell listens to both sexes: On the one hand, he has served on the boards of four national men’s and fathers’ organizations; and on the other, he is the only man in the US to ever have been elected three times to the Board of Directors of the National Organization for Women (N.O.W.) in New York City. Dr. Farrell is also the only person selected to speak at former California Governor Wilson’s Conference on Men as well as his Conference on Women.

Warren has formed over 600 women's and men's groups and has worked with more than a quarter million men and women from all walks of life. The Chicago
Tribune described Warren as "the Gloria Steinem of Men's Liberation." The Boston Globe calls him “the sage of the men’s movement.” Take your pick.

Dr. Farrell has taught in five disciplines: in psychology, political science, sociology, sexual politics, and public administration. He has taught at the School of Medicine at the University of California in San Diego, as well as at Georgetown University, Rutgers, and the California School of Professional Psychology.

In 1965, President Johnson recognized a Warren without grey hair (!) as one of the nation's outstanding young educators. More recently, he has been chosen by The Financial
Times as one of the world’s top 100 Thought Leaders.

Warren has appeared on more than 1000 TV shows, including three appearances on Oprah, as well as on the ABC World News with the late Peter Jennings, the Today Show with Barbara Walters, 20/20, Crossfire, and Larry King Live.

Warren has been featured in People and on Real People; in Time and The New York Times, and been chosen by the International Biographic Center as one of the world’s top 2000 scholars of the 20th Century.
